David J. Gospodarek (Dave), a
1973 honors graduate of the University of Wisconsin in Madison,
received a Bachelor of Arts Degree with a major in accounting. His
experience includes fifteen years with a national certified public
accounting firm, with ten years as a partner, and eleven years as
the managing principal of the firm Gospodarek, Lunsford & Strickland,
C.P.A., P.A.
Dave formed the accounting firm of Gospodarek, C.P.A., P.A. in 2003
to serve a growing list of diversified clients. He has extensive
experience working with proprietor, partnership and corporate businesses.
Over the years, he has worked with manufacturers, wholesalers and
many service-related operations. In addition, he has conducted training
sessions and presented seminars on investments, strategic planning,
financial planning and income tax planning. In addition to managing
the operations of the firm, Dave also coordinates the audit, accounting
and business valuation portions of the firm. He is well-versed in
the valuation of businesses and has rendered expert testimony on
a variety of subjects.
Dave is a member of the North Carolina and Virginia Associations
of Certified Public Accountants, the American Institute of Certified
Public Accountants and the Wisconsin Institute of Certified Public
Accountants. He is a member of the Raleigh Downtown Rotary Club
and has served as the president. He is an elder and treasurer for
St. Giles Presbyterian Church, a founding director of Capital Bank
and serves as a trustee of Glenaire Retirement Home. |
